What we look at closely
Holo surfaces
Holo, reverse holo and full art cards easily show scratches, print lines and fingerprints, so the surface is examined under suitable lighting.
Centering
Many Pokémon cards are printed slightly off-center: we measure how even the borders are, front and back.
Edges and corners
The blue back of English-language cards makes the slightest edge whitening very visible; every corner is checked.
Our tip
Send your cards in a new sleeve and top loader, without cleaning them: home cleaning can leave marks on the surface.
